IMO it will be interesting to see where NZ & Aus are in say 20 years time. NZ is not of much interest to China. IMO except as a base for Naval & military R&R.
NZ has shown preference to be BRI consultants, project managers & corporate governance for projects outside NZ.
Of course Japan has also signed up for the BRI but only as investors
Neither country will have BRI projects within their borders from what I can gather.IMO, both are Claytons members for the sake go harmonious trade relations. No doubt the USA will try to wedge them, IMO.
