The current generation of so called maori have to be rescued if they ever venture outside a harbour in their so called canoes. While they now try and claim first explorer status for Antartica which would prove to be a much more hazardous sea voyage than across the Tasman, recent experiences of their actual sailing and navigational ability once clear of the relative safety of enclosed waterways clearly raises doubts about the accuracy of their many fairy tales about navigating vast expanses of ocean.
The chances of Maori ever having paddled west across the Tasman are significantly less than Zero!
