All this talk of exciting discoveries at cern had my brain ticking again lately.
If i understand it right, General Relativity shows that distance creates time dilation, and this dilation is what causes space to curve and a body to "fall".
Im not familiar enough with quantum mechanics to really understand all the different subatomic particles and their laws. It kind of overwhelms me a bit. Does anyone have enough of a grasp of it to be able to explain whether the stronger forces might be caused by the same principle (ie distance creating a time dilation gradient)?
Genuine question, any thoughts welcome.
Im just wondering if the whole "unified field" is being looked at back to front?
