I tend to agree, the only way they are going to survive is if they have low cost production, enough cash to last for quite some time and low or no debt. Eventually enough production will stop to allow metal prices to recover, and once it does I'm sure the survivors will be in a good position.
I can't believe how low metals prices have fallen. I don't think there would be many companies that could sustain these price levels for long.
