Melman The check needs to go deeper than excluding the Chinese per se it has to uncover the links of all FI purchasers because there are many Chinese for example that hold Australian or indeed USA, NZ and Canadian passports. There were plane loads of babies shuffled in and out of the USA from China all in the name of securing US citizenship /passports. These planes were known as the "US baby express" and this has been going on for years. All very well to block the Chinese but are you going to block Canadians, American etc etc passport holders of Chinese descent who are more than likely going to use the FI to further the Chinese cause. They are very cunning when it comes to the rules and doing work arounds when it suits.
