I'm not fussed about bank deposits as they pay a very low interest.
As soon as I have any spare cash I invest in more high-yielding listed Aussie property trusts.
The only time I sell is when the yield plummets. As that hasn't happened of late I've accumulated a big portfolio of high-yield listed property trust shares. Somebody said that I should diversify.
But why diversity from Excellence into Mediocre low-yielding shares or bank deposits or bonds. That doesn't make any sense to me.
When I'm on a good thing I stick to it. Today one of our listed property trusts paid a quarterly distribution of $9402.
Why invest in low-yield bank deposits, or bonds unless you're nervous or can't handle prosperity. Australian banks are safe but that is not much fun. This may brighten you up:
