    BB,

    The optimal level of CO2 for maximum plant growth is 1200 ppm. At 250 ppm plant life starts to die off. Currently we have 400 ppm of which a quarter has been added by us. Therefore prior to industrialization the plant life on this Earth was in a CO2 deprived state. If anything the issue of CO2 has been good for the Earth considering it has hardly contributed to the green-house effect. Bigger trees more agriculture is a good thing.

    That is not to say humans have not had bad effects on the planet, i.e causing animals to become instinct, oil spills, etc... But the issue of CO2 is a joke.
