well I don't really know. I suppose I'd say "yet to be determined". I'd also say nothing is proven and the earth is a system that reacts to any change. The world is definitely overpopulated and pollution in general is much more of a problem like plastic floating in the oceans also destruction of natural habitats like the Amazon.
Photosynthesis is only a chemical reaction that's limited by lack of CO2 given plenty of sunlight and water. So revegetation is possible if we can reduce population.
I'm dead against the politically driven "solution" of "a price on carbon". Higher taxes are no solution they only give more money to cancerous governments and worst of all, investment bankers - the lowest of the earth.
If Krudd Gillard or Turnbull were serious they'd switch power stations and vehicles across to natural gas. This would have a gigantic effect. Of course this is not the real objective, rather a completely new level of theft is the agenda. Look at Gillard and Wong's language - "polluters must pay" and "climate change deniers". Pretty obvious.
