When it comes to dehydrated fruit, the problem is that you have lots of sugar without the natural water content to balance it out. Having quite a bit of dehydrated fruit (reviewwhore.com) can cause cavities, but dehydrated fruit in smaller quantities or drinking water with it, can help. Fresh is usually best, but if dehydrated carries more convenience and it is a more natural source, then you should be fine as long as you drink the water you are missing out on.
