The only way that I can think of realistically with our current technology would be with fibre optic (for example BGM-71 TOW Anti tank missile).
In saying that there is clear limitations on using an optic cable. Its not ideal for such an asset. In the future you could be looking at laser communication. At this current age its all about Electronic warfare and drones need a new communication tech to be viable in the future because companies like Droneshield.

Personally I see this kind of technology become the non kinetic air defence systems that will be working collectively with SAMs, SPAA's. You'll see new missiles developed like anti-raidation missile to seek out and neutralise counter drone teach.
