Those who don't which to serve in active duties in IDF go to jail for 30 days. But what happens in real life, once they are out after 30 days, they are called in again the same day and, if they refuse, go to jail again to serve another 30 days. The whole process repeats so they end up being jailed for much longer than just 30 days.

I'm a dual citizen too and I love my country of birth a lot. But if Australia was invaded tomorrow I would definitely not run away, I'd stay here and defend Austalia which I love, too. I also have a property overseas where I could live in comfort.

This $34T US debt could actually be much bigger, I think that 34T does not include some other debts of US.

@borabora69; I'm not a violent person. Nor do I believe in state sanctioned killing or mutilation of other people; albeit I do believe in the death penalty for those responsible for crimes against humanity including the Holocaust, the Port Arthur Massacre and the Christchurch Massacre.

As someone born into the enduring aftermath of WW2 and the impact it had on returning soldiers and their families as well as the impact of the Vietnam War on Australians I'm averse to warmongering and opposed to conscription.

What Hamas did to Israelis on October 7th qualifies those who planned it and the operatives responsible for the death penalty - IMO Netanyahu's IDF should have pursued them into their tunnels and brought them to justice before the ICC and the ICJ as per the Nuremberg Trials.

That's NOT what Netanyahu's Regime has done.

Instead Netanyahu's Regime deployed US resourced WMDs to reduce Gaza to rubble in the hope that Hamas operatives would be killed. The IDF consequently destroyed Palestinians' homes, their livelihoods, their communities, their food supply, their water supply, sanitation and even access to basic medical services.

The IDF's 'acceptable collateral death rate' of forty Palestinian civilians for any alleged Hamas operative has led to the slaughter of roughly 35,000 civilians thus far with no sign that the US will stop pouring in more WMDS to Netanyahu's hands anytime soon. Half of those killed and mutilated are women and kids.

Yet we now learn that IDF claimed victories in Northern Gaza were not successful after all and that they intend to rinse and repeat using fresh resources from the USA..

The killing of civilians by military personnel is a war crime. Killing them at a ratio of 40:1 to terminate an alleged 50,000 Hamas operatives means that Netanyahu's Regime regards the death of 2 million Palestinian civilians as acceptable collateral damage - that's genocide!

Re the US and its ballooning $Debt, the GFC demonstrated just how deeply corrupt Wall Street and the US economy really are. Biden has shredded global free trade as teh US even steals assets belonging to other countries via unilaterally imposed 'sanctions'. The US just 'prints money' and creates it out of thin air - as per the recent cryptocurrency ETF on the NYSE.
