are marion outsmarting themselves ?

Just curious about the sales process . We have apparently 4 coy (several) who have done their due diligence within an implied deadline and then 2 more coy enter the data room and we extend indefiently. While its nice to have a lot of coy looking to buy - is the other side of that that the original 4 coy will not pay a fair amount and the search has been extended .

If you had a decent offer wouldn't post it and tell the johny come latelys they had 2 weeks to beat it or its gone.
I am after insight from those who have knowledge of these types of processes.
