I would point out for starters that this is purely energy density and not power to wheels.
The EV setup is much more efficient at doing that conversion!
Corrected Calculations:Petrol (gasoline) has an energy density of 46 mj/kg (https://energyeducation.ca/encyclopedia/Energy_density)
Now 1 mj = 0.28 kwh ( https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=convert+mj+to+kwh )
So that’s 46 x .28 = 12.9 kwh/kg petrol energy density.
The tesla battery stores 90kwh equivalent to 90/12.9 = 7 kg of petrol in over half a ton of batteries.
The point's even starker on the corrected numbers.
