from the AEMO site electricity use/demand/supply just 5 minutes ago QLD not shown due to my screen restrictions that is an awful lot of basically fossil fuel generation that has to be replaced (if you want to get rid of coal and gas) sometimes it is not about "picking sides" but making sure that the lights turn on when the switch is flicked.
