Completely rubbish statement: 1) A fair majority of investment properties have been owned for MANY years so the owners yields are far better than 4%. 2) Yield of properties even purchased today are very dependent on the location where the property was purchased, the condition it was in when it was purchased and what minor improvements the owner can do to boost the rent.
