Most of the announcements I have read today which seem to have been made to pacify the market did exactly the opposite and caused those particular stocks to be hit just as hard as most others if not more ( APT& EML being two which stood out). I have to admit that PNC is somewhat an exception as you would expect that the Scheme price would tend to give it some stability but as other posters have pointed out there are always the forced sellers in this type of market.
