Are silicon anodes a threat to NVX?, page-14

I suggest you watch Limiting Factor You Tube channel on Si anodes. Basicly Si is added to the graphite, there is no such thing as 100% Si anode, simply because you are getting dimishing return when you get over~30% Si anode. But that being said Silicon gets all the heavy lifting, and graphite is just a bond that copes with expansion. So a high quality graphite in Si rich anode is questionable, you may as well use cheaper natural for this kind of application. NVX is targeting cycle life we won't see Si anodes in long cycle anodes for sone time.
