This is an ignorant comment. Firstly, the second airport is happening. No amount of protesting will hold it back now. The only question that remains is who will build and own it - SYD or someone else.
You're right that it is 15 years away because that's about how long it will take to build in stages. The road infrastructure is being built right now.
The 2nd airport isn't about bringing tourism to Western Sydney, it's about freeing up space at Mascot by moving logistics and freight out of the city and closer to the road distribution and warehousing network which has been built along the M7 corridor.
Come visit us in the shit hole and see it with your own eyes.
