    solution6, all banks are leveraged against their deposits. It's the case with every bank in every country that if enough people wanted money back at the same moment that the bank would be out of business and unable to meet regulatory deposit requirements versus their loans.

    I doubt there will be a run on Australia's banks. I do think that some banks will come under pressure as real estate values slide.

    Are there any banking shorts that others like here? What about Bank of Queensland?
