Hi Chakay, I doubt it. I think there is now MUCH less competition for funds globally than when IO spot price was $130.
The only ready-to-go, tier-1, globally lowest quartile IO project (not owned by a major) that is worthy to be invested in (at $21/T we will the one of the last man standing) should be able to tap into many billions that are no longer available to marginal and high-cost projects worldwide.
The African Development Bank's director of the African Natural Resources Centre are encourging Oz companies to tap the bank. The lion share of the $3.5 indicative debt funding is from ECAs & DFIs.
Things are looking up I think.
