They'll be interested in the product, not so much the project. Chinese to take equity in NXS is a possiblity, I think a non-chinese company will be a better bet.
I think some companies who have looked at CRUX might not like the handover situation with Shell. If someone does enter, you can bet they'll be producing as much as they can before handover date.
