It's different over here on the west coast with the driest summer that i've known since I moved here.
Just 11.5mm over the last 5 months in the Margaret River/Yallinup region which would usually see 100mm, which is scant enough. Native shrubs started dying but now native trees are giving up too.
Water tanks are running low and being kept going with 12,000L top ups for $260.
It's always the same when the east gets good rainfall, we pay the price. 33c today isn't helping either.
