If the Bushveld Igneous Complex in SA remains the only significant source of Platinum Group metals, IMO, the long term outlook for the Pt price looks rosy.
IMO, if the Pt price drops or doesn't move up from its present position production will slow as mining companies struggle with losses. This I feel will create some sort of support level for the price.
My ramblings only - I often get it wrong.
