Haha..when I first met my now husband he was driving a little Mazda R100 Coupe....yes, went like a rocket and did well over a hundred k's in it without any major problems. Had rotaries for a few years after that...loved them.
Enn...an Astra ran into the back of my VW Jetta earlier this year...so true....hardly a scratch on the VW, the Astra front bumper was left in the middle of the road...bits and pieces everywhere.
