I recently was involved as a shareholder in the takeover of Avanco Resources by Oz Minerals. At the time of the takeover offer the shareholders suspected that for a period of time prior, that the Avanco shareprice had been manipulated by a large shareholder , keeping a lid on the share price,and that whilst at face value the offer from Oz Minerals looked appealing compared to the shareprice at the time ( more than double) , it didn't reperesent the potential of the assets held by Avanco.

" PLS shareprice could be manipulated by a large sharholder capping the price prior to a lowball takeover offer" - Seem many people here think this could happen to PLS down at this price.
