Here is the rosy scenario though, if you believe that Fortuna is smiling on you.
Centamin win the appeal. The price of gold goes to $1,350 (the current target of some analysts). The Aussie dollar falls back substantially against the Pound Sterling.
A trilogy of wins for AMX shareholders who take the Centamin offer.
Some UK analysts are predicting 70p for Centamin if it wins the appeal, so then throw in a rising gold price, and a falling Aussie dollar, and AMX shareholders could be looking at the equivalent of about 30 cents a share (or more). No wonder someone just grabbed $70,000 grands worth online at 17 cents.
Of course, this is all just hope at the moment, and it is quite easy to see what the result would be if all 3 of the above scenarios go against Centamin and AMX. The AMX price would probably fall back to 7 cents.
