Hi Swiv, Gunga , Loki, G12 and all !

Yes, I have been ensconced in a time consuming design/build project. Enjoying a break from the stock market forums and trading in general. Don't have the headspace to competently do both "build and trade" I'm afraid.

Now that AMX have got the bid and mgmt sold us down the river , no point posting on a regular basis anymore. Either sell or accept the offer ,sit back and see what plays out with the court case in Egypt.

Just such a shame that they have likely sold right at the bottom of this whole gold rout. Kitto should donate his million$ payout to charity as recompense for his lack luster performance.

Loki - Taurus sure are "cool dude investors"! as you put it. I would have loved to of heard some of the phone calls they placed to amx mgmt (doubt they ever got past the secretary) . Perhaps Taurus would be usefull as a contrarian indicator from now on ? one could have made a pretty penny shorting any stocks they've owned over the last two years!

But at the end of the day, Taurus like many of us, are investing in the ground at Batie , not just the company that puts its sticker on it.

I think Centamin will do well with whats on offer at Batie and all my previous posts about the significance of the belt still stand. AMX had a few years of glory at Batie , now its Centamins turn . A fresh outlook and new set of eyes on the project may indeed yield some rewards. Worth sticking around for imo, court case win or not. Quite often a land holding will change hands at least once before someone has ultimate success with it.

Been another great learning experience being a holder of AMX thats for sure - but time to move on. The show is nearly over for AMX. So what else is out there ?

Been sliding a few dollars more into PIR and that's about it lately. Of all the developer golds - I think PIR has the best chance of making something of themselves. Just hope the Mali govt doesn't do anything stupid.
