Are tradies overpaid??, page-46

Hi Dex. My partner is a tradie and I can guarantee you that a good 90% of his income is declared. Why? Most of his work is tax deductible for his customers. There is no great incentive to pay him cash.

The other 10%ish that is cash is like a tip. Are you suggesting that all tips should be declared as well?

BTW, the cash is spent on us, shopping, dinners or movies, and not stored under the mattress. We appreciate it very much.
