I feel a sea-change towards V batts will occur when those Li storage plants start to need recycling in 5-7 years. I’m also curious to see what happens to the Li storage industry when used EV’s depreciate massively as their storage cells degenerate. This is the elephant in the room no auto manufacturers are currently addressing, besides 100000km battery warranties. How are they going to recycle these batteries?Until then (and based on current V prices), it’s predominantly steel manufacture for V and that’s sufficient to take this puppy mining.
