I think it works well because of their attitudes. Management and unions cooperate rather than antagonise. It didn’t work here because of the antagonistic relationship.
@nini8365 i think you’ll find Volvo and SAAB made most of their own parts, or bought in quality components, not cheap ones. That’s why they had such a solid reputation. Whereas Fords and Holdens were made to last a year or two longer than the lease period of five years.
And Finnish education is the best. Followed by German, IMO. I don’t know where we would rank.
