Too true Bloor . I'm not defending the actions of the shippers or the greenies at all .And you are correct . Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story ...
I'm looking at it from the point of what does the industry have to do to protect itself . They need to stay in business . The customers prefer live exports for their reasons . We need to do what we have to do to keep both sides happy .
As I have previously pointed out , the initial headline is a bit of shock value . The investment in training and educating the Vietnamese may come back to us tenfold in exports , more training etc .
Australia has been exporting it's agricultural knowledge to Asia for years . It is an industry in itself .
