The engineer and architect that built the buildings you work in and the road you drive on didn't learn anything from university?
Being educated and being a dick head are not necessarily related. I know heaps of tradies who are dick heads as well as many who aren't.
"the educated idiot" comment sums up the ignorance this thread was talking about. I would much rather be an educated idiot than an uneducated one.
if you had actually done any higher education you would understand what I mean when I say you have no idea what you are talking about if you degrade people who have spent years of their life studying and researching.
Where do you think knowledge comes from - it certainly doesn't come from some old guy who can't write waxing lyrical about the educated folk he knows nothing about.
