    Maybe the looming taxselling season answers your question SV - they (the buyer) have CGT looming and buy now with a plan to sell at a loss in May/June.

    However, if it moves up, even just a point or two, it is a winner, so perhaps they are gambling with the ATO's money??

    A longshot but not unheard of!!
