research is what woke me up to my own shyte. back in. the 80s. more interesting is the people who went to the bin for offences that some I've known would consider normal. attitudes such as these aren't common but its the casual comments of many others I've known, including my own as a young un, were pretty shocking too when considering the consequences.

Why is the focus of domestic violence just on
men against women? The problem runs a lot
deeper than that. Nobody wants to discuss the
problem of domestic violence in detail because it
presents a picture that doesn’t suit the narrative of
it being a man against woman problem.
