The company has to announce anything they are aware of that is material to the share price. If they hit nothing in the top zone then they would have to report it.
It also depends on how often Cairn is providing reports to FAR. If they don't know because it's being treated as a wildcat then they can't report it. If they know a report is coming then they would have to go TH.
