That kind of report will mirror what I believe NEO will report once the JH1-1 deeps are tested. 5~6 zones x 200 odd bpd is great flow in that area... plus around 1000 mcf gas ....will obviously take time though.
Notably Citrus1 drilling did not encounter shallow gas (ala JH1-1 , 2-13 etc).
This is the probably why the NEO JV were not expecting it and it came as a huge (and pleasant) surprise on 23rd Sept 04 in JH1-1 (and now block 13 also)
Citrus is producing from 7000ft (vertical) in the 'antelope shales' vs NEO's shallow sands are circa 2000~5000ft!
The Antelope shales are at the top of the so-called 'JH Deeps' and form part of the Montery formation , below them are the Stevens Sands.
The Citrus field commercialisation is yet another endorsement of my own thinking on NEO/OPL. VERY SIGNIFICANT IMO !
I'll bet Nahabidean are spitting tacks having opted out of their JH Deep rights !!
ds, not sure about an ann. today , would very much hope so though ... must have been gas shows over the w/end.
