When the market is down like it is at the moment, it's always the best opportunity to buy. There are so few down days and weeks like this in a year.
The flipside is this turns out to be another economic scenario like Covid or tech wreck or GFC or oil shock.
The economic change in play is the US Government staff cuts, will they have that big an economic impact? Tariffs will have a longer term impact, but not as immediate as the stockmarkets are predicting.
