Benitec should have posted you some information including your DRS (Direct Registration) advice. You also need to register with the IRS to allow for tax treatment with Form W-8BEN. To trade you will need an international account, do that with your broker/ Comsec etc You can mail the forms to Computershare Kentucky in the envelope provided
But I went to computershare.com/investor and created a log in. Make sure you go to the US site. Computershare will post by snail mail some other verification codes, which you will need for a subsequent log in.
Once you are verified, you should be able to certify your account for US tax purposes as well as complete other shareholder functions.
