The only safe way out of the "bull trap" - and it could be a really, really nasty one - is to invest in gold and silver stocks (plus maybe some oil stocks) and have a good % of "cash on the sideboard".
Otherwise as one HC poster politely puts it "We'll all be roooned".
I could express that sentiment more colourfully but it would not get past the HC profanity filter.
