GNL- HAW does indeed abutt the WSA-BHP tenements -but HAW ground is mostly BIF unlike Cathedral hence their magnetics will generally reflect magnetite whilst the new discovery is in a granite hosted - ultramafic setting with presumably different geophysical characteristics. We will have to await a study of the HAW ground to see if any similar geology. Notwithstanding as I have posted here upon the announcement of the discovery initially it is possibly the biggest thing that has ever happened on the Ida Fault -greenstone belt and the Perrin Vale Fault to the west. Similar geological settings are probable on both greenstone belts and Cathedral if it turns up trumps big time should spark intense sulphide nickel exploration in that part of the Central Yilgarn.
