    @zog I think a few people are confused not just you with what @Bullwhisper is saying.

    Your explanation is spot on.

    The shut down of sand king mining helps stop some of the cash burn OBM has faced since the restart however in terms of gold being produced and the costs associated this cessation of works will not lower the AISC as the “pre strip” wasn’t captured in the AISC costs as it’s not a direct cost of producing that ounce of gold.

    Im interested to learn more about how the accounting works on the LG stockpiles yet to be treated from the mines?

    Based on what you explained they might carry a higher mining cost due to the fact that the remaining costs associated with the pit that’s finished has to be “shared” by the ounces left of the stockpile?

    So by treating these stockpiles the AISC might be higher than last 1/4?
