Footy, what happened to my 20c+...just back from PNG and was totally surprised to see we are still trading at 11-11.5c..While all my other oil and gas stocks are up,some considerably.
"The timing of the fracture stimulation is Novemeber 1".We now have a fix date,so why no movement north??
Right now "Defender" is Samson Oil.Forget about "Bakken",
forget about "Fort Peck".
If Defender comes up dry...we all know where the sp is heading. So,is the gamble/speculation becoming to great for some. Many of the long termers bought in at 3c or below. Is it time to cover your bets....if you are not a risk taker(although, for anyone to put their hard earn cash into Samson must get some pleasure of taking a punt),have a family, mortgage,a fixed income eg:8 to 5 job, then it may be time to diversify.
However I cannot see Defender coming up dry,and I am looking at 3000bpd+ from the intital flow.
So I am going to hang in their, and will again sell down other stock to continue buying SSN,SSNO over the next 3 trading days.
The other thing you all must consider is the pressure that is on Terry to deliver. Many, and I say many of you have put Terry up on a pedestal as some sort of oil god,and Samson Oil as some sort of savier to your own/family financial security.Which is why we all invest in such companies.
However this is the first company that I have ever invested in where their is such passion by shareholders over their investments.
Terry would be fully aware of this.We all know he reads hotcopper, and I suspect receives many daily e-mails from shareholders, hence:Terry's Topic..
I am relying on this pressure, plus the pressure of other oil companies within the US who are watching Samson to get the fracture of Defender right and deliver on his promises.
So is the risk worth it.For me,yes...at 30c I am again debt and mortgage free.
Off on Wednesday for my climbing expedition (summit Ama Dablam)in the Himilaya's.No computers for approx 4 weeks. So on my return, approx 19th November, all going to plan,I am hoping SSN will be over 30c on fracture news.
