    some people have blind faith. it takes a lot to break that kind of belief... and "the expectation of life ever after amen.

    "imo this is the reason there is a left/right division - a) safety in numbers and crowd conformation = belief confirmation, and b) the "us and them" principle needs an opposition to be proven valid.

    its all bloomin' religion old bean.

    I've sometimes thought I'd like to go back to being a believer. you don't have to make decisions when you're told what to believe. I'd like to say agnosticism is so liberating but it's not. it's a blooming' pain man. I always have to argue these things over and again.

    I'm reminded of a song played at one of the Secret Policemen's Ball 'How Sweet to the an Idiot'.
