Re your query on what level of shareholding would warrant a phone call to check on how one will be voting, perhaps they are calling uo those who hold more than 100,000 shares as the second tier of holders until they get their majority. There seems to be (memory again, and I know...a short pencil is better than a long memory....)somewhat over 1000 (1200?) holders over 100,000 who don't fall into the major shareholders range.
I read ages ago that Nystar had a holding in YTC but it doesn't show on the list of majors. Maybe they holding through another company or they don't hold at all.
I don't see there can be any issue if it's a majority vote though....the management seems to need to know the likelihoods and probably also the waiverers.
