It leads to one conclusion. To go for a no vote is implying management has it wrong in this matter. That is fine but a compelling counter argument needs to provided. Some say other funding/ sales partners could be sought but history revealed the complexities of finding such partners as hoots highlighted. Others mention the potential of cockatoo. What if the potential does not eventuate? What of market conditions deteriorate further with IO decreasing. We all remember the Irvine debacle - sometimes potential is not always realised. The next question is if PLV needs another partner what safeguards/ guarantees would be required for future partnerships once we lose our integrity.
