Although I no longer hold ICN and I have become a pessimist in recent times, I still stick my head in the door from time to time to see if anything has transpired.
I share TBE's sentiment, but more to the point I see no big leap in the sp if if the MOU is converted to a GSA. The big sp appreciation will only happen when it becomes clear to the market exactly where the gas will be coming from and at what price, and what the cost of LNG conversion will be.This is where it becomes murky.
There is always a chance , a very small chance, that ICN could do a take-over of another CBM company using Chinese money, or do a gas purchase deal from the likes of Santos,or some such deal that would get them over the line as far as reserves go.Then the question arises regarding access to an LNG plant. And so it goes.I dont think the Chinese will wait for ICN to drill , test, and develop. ICN usually move at snails pace with anything they do.
Right now there are just too many un-answered questions and based on ICN's past performance the market is saying ....naaahh I dont think so.
As I said though , there is always a million to one chance so I keep watching because if they pull it off the rewards will be huge.
