Are you feeling this way?

Is this just me?

I feel the situation is so tense you could cut it with a knife.

Over the past week I have had an order in at 6.7 and gradually moved it up to 7.0 without luck. The price is outrunning me - maybe out-strolling me is more accurate. (And just to prove how stupid this is, we're talking about a bloke averaged at 11.6 worrying about a pip at 40-odd per cent lower.) It does seem, though, that the capper is ever so gradually relaxing the reins.

There are other portents, too:

> The OP suddenly ratchets up 25% in three days, not because of a miraculous recovery - because I don't think it will hold - but simply to remind us how quickly this sector can rebound.
> FAR lurches into life with a reprise of Cairn's "Bellatrix is the chosen one" release.
> Shelf seismic looks to be kicking off. ( And please no one forget GB, which I still reckon is a sleeper.)
> phillip suddenly reappears after a long lay-off. (Don't underestimate this: I don't know phillip but I sense he is not a million miles from the action.)
> Right on cue, Woodside lobs an $11 b grenade into the tent.

I might be wrong - and have been many times before - but I sense an inflexion point is close. Bugger it, tomorrow I am ignoring that extra tenth of a cent and making sure I get my last fill of FAR before things really warm up. Time is ticking.

Is anyone else feeling this? Or am I just wishing?
