I was self employed so any super I accumulated was self generated. Went down the SMSF path for a while but found it too restrictive and expensive. Ended up closing it all down and all assets now just in joint names with Mrs clif. Might pay a bit more tax to squandering useless politicians, but it's simple to operate with no Super rules or restrictions. Just like to keep things simple which suits my simple mind . If you take this as any sort of financial advice you are bonkers.
