When I was working for a large, highly successful corporation back in the late 70's/early 80's all employees rec'd profit share which was rolled into a superannuation style account along with issued shares. We enjoyed free medical and a 37.5 hr week. I do think it was this company which directly influenced the introduction of universal superannuation due to its open collaboration with Trades Hall, who were included in the fund management seating.
