and once their resources are impinged directly and seriously (like your example of supermarkets with no stock)
there will be a call to governments to provide

well governments still talk of big dams, freeways and tollways, immigration, free trade , exporting more raw materials, importing chinese businesses, lending policies on homes not farms (nfi)

I predict lots of poorly paid jobs in the infantry coming about!
